The Mušković family has been producing wine in the heart of Istria for four generations.
It started with Ivan in 1903, and it started small. With money tight, Ivan took his first wine to market in Koper by bicycle,
a journey of 65 km – there and back! It might have been a long way, but it was worth the effort; his wine proved popular and his vineyard grew. A van replaced the bike and the Mušković winery was born.
That is why we have his bicycle as our logo. It embodies his drive and our pride in our heritage, rooted in the Istrian soil.
It is the symbol of Mušković determination and commitment to excellent wines.
Today we combine generations of experience with state-of-the-art techniques to produce perfectly-balanced Istrian wines.
Belief, passion and total commitment started the Mušković winery: four generations later, this belief and passion still drives us today.

The vines themselves are a gentle stroll away, so at Mušković it is easy to combine a guided vineyard tour with a wine tasting.
We are also on cycle route 615 (From Pond to Pond) and a popular stop. Try our wines and then ride on with a smile. If you like what you taste, you can collect your purchases later by car – it’s what everyone else does!
